Bond is a portrait documentary on Vassar biochem professor, Krystle McLaughlin and an exploration through her career as a researcher. I attempted to discover how she connects both the bonds of chemistry and the development of her career and life: a girl born in a sporting family from Trinidad and Tobago and applying to American universities secretly; a newcomer to Northeastern America’s snowy winter, now landing around Vassar College to continue her research on crystallography.

I served as the director, cinematographer, editor, and interviewer of this documentary. Bond was screened at Vassar 2025 Showcase.
